Ewalt Elementary is excited to announce that Mrs. Janelle Roland has accepted the position of principal for the 2026-27 school year.

Mrs. Roland brings a deep understanding of the principalship along with a strong and well-rounded background in education that will allow her to support Ewalt students and staff at a high level. Throughout her career, she has served as an elementary teacher, MTSS facilitator, assistant principal, and building principal. These experiences have equipped her with the instructional leadership, systems knowledge, and relationship-building skills necessary to lead a successful elementary school.

In addition to her professional experience, Mrs. Roland holds an ESOL endorsement, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master’s degree in Building Leadership.

Ewalt Elementary looks forward to the leadership Mrs. Roland will provide and is confident she will continue the school’s strong tradition of supporting students, staff, and families.
