Adult Diploma Completion Program

We are open for the 2013-2014 school year and are actively taking registration. Registration costs $10.00. QUALIFY TO WORK FROM HOME: You must work in our classroom for two 6.5-hour days occurring at least two weeks apart. Our staff can give you further details when you register. If you need to ask off from work in order to do these two 6.5-hour days, we can provide a letter of verification for your employer (with your permission).

USD 402 is proud to provide a way for adults in our community to finish a high school diploma -- NOT a GED. Completers in our program receive an Augusta High School diploma conferred by the USD 402 Board of Education. We have in our program who are concerned with achieving their high school diploma, and it is exciting to watch their progress in our online curriculum and see the sense of accomplishment in their eyes as they complete an assignment, a course, or -- ultimately -- their AHS diploma.

Please come and visit us and see the comfortable, adult environment we have created for our participants! We are located inside Augusta High School, with our own entrance on the north side of the buidling. Our door is marked "Adult Diploma." Just ring the doorbell to the left of the door, and a staff member will come and let you in.

ADULT CLASSROOM HOURS:

8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

We are CLOSED on days when Augusta High School does not have school. (See "School Year Calendar" under "Documents" at left.)

(Scroll down the page for announcements, news briefs, and other information.)

Course Completion Soars in ADC Program!

The Adult Diploma Completion (ADC) program experienced a sharp increase in success during the 2011-2012 school year. With over 45 applicants throughout the year, the average age of participants was 24.7, and the average high school credits they entered the program with was 14.6.

Collectively, adults completed a total of 12 courses this year, and one student completed the requirements for the AHS diploma. A handful of adult participants are within 2 credits of completing, and we hope to see those individuals back this fall to finish up!
