What is the USD 402 District Improvement Team?

This committee conducts business in the areas of curriculum/assessment and school improvement issues across the district. The committee approves textbook and curriculum adoptions and makes recommendations to the Board of Education. This committee is facilitated by the Assistant Superintendent.

The district is represented on this team by all building principals and certified teachers elected by their peers. The committee has representatives for each of the four core areas: math, language arts, science, and social studies, and also for all non-core areas, collectively called the practical & performing arts.
