Augusta Middle School -- Scholar's Bowl

Students should see Mrs. Brown in room 104 on Monday, September 22 or Wednesday, September 24 to get information about AMS Scholar's Bowl.  There will be a meeting for all interested participants on Tuesday, September 30.  Listen to announcements for time and location.

All students interested in participating in Scholar's Bowl will fill out a short form that must be signed by their current classroom teachers.  In addition, there will be a 30 question test that students will take to determine their participation.  Questions on the test, as well as in all Scholar's Bowl meets, cover literature, science, history, current events, fine arts, math, and other miscellaneous trivia questions.  Students DO NOT have to be experts in every area, but need to be willing to do some practice in all areas.

Team practices will be held on Monday and Thursday mornings at 7:30 a.m. in Mrs. Brown's room.  Students are expected to attend all practices unless they have an excused absence from school that day.  2007 schedule will is posted below.
