As the school year winds down, we want to take a moment to honor and celebrate some incredible educators who are retiring this year. A few weeks ago, we gathered with family, friends, and colleagues to celebrate them, but we want to publicly recognize their remarkable dedication to education—and their years of service to our district.

•  Kathy Newcom – 46 years in education, 26 of those in Augusta
•  Diane Rhoten – 42 years in education, 41 of those in Augusta
•  Donna Nickel – 41 years in education, 32 of those in Augusta
•  Tony Mark – 30 years in education, 2 of those in Augusta

These educators have touched countless lives, inspired generations of students, and left a lasting impact on Augusta USD 402. Thank you for your commitment, passion, and service—you will be deeply missed and forever appreciated. Enjoy your well-earned retirement!
